Gail-Autumn Spirit (Congrats!!) & BOD member
Mundanely, Julie is married with a beautiful boy who loves attending our events Eric-Branch Member
Although we don't get to see Linda as
much as we would like, when we do, we get to reconnect with her
'goings on' and enjoy her peaceful energy and bright smile. Linda
took Year-And-A-Day classes and received her initiation 2 years ago
at Sacred Pathways in New Bedford. She continues to take classes with
her previous instructor and occasionally writes and facilities
rituals at the First Unitarian Church in New Bedford. Linda loves
ritual writing (eclectic style) music, dancing, sailing,
spending time with friends, reading, taking walks on the beach, and
movies (especially scary ones!). She is highly dedicated to her
martial arts training in which she has learned many different
styles ( Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do, and Philippine). Congrats to
her as she received her black belt in Tae Kwon Do back in December of
2005. Linda has been on the pagan path for almost 4 years and has
been with Spiral Tree Grove since 2005.
Mundanely she works as an administrative assistant for a restoration company. Linda has a 'child', a rabbit named Ninja who is "the love of her life". :-)

Melanie - High Priestess (Winter Spirit) & Cofounder
Melanie is the teacher of the Grove, especially the
Inner clergy training program, keeping in mind that there is nothing she
doesn't know...at least we tell her that! (*She WILL deny it..shhhh)
Melanie has a flare for off the cuff rituals that rock, plus she's an amazing
story teller, and totem animal guide. Melanie is the earth in this Grove
that keeps everyone 'balanced'. She has an affinity for
dryads, trees, fairies, and land creatures and has an amazing ability to
sense the earth energy around her. Melanie has been practicing for approximately
12 years with a special interest in magical Herbalism, and tarot reading.
Armed with a strange sense of humor, the element of air,
plus a pinch of spice sprinkled directly on this (fixed) sun-centered Leo, and
behold, we get Cheryl! ( Such a Leo...hehehe) Cheryl does most of the
networking in STG, plus she is the teacher & coordinator of STG's
Herbal apprenticed program called Herbal Earth. She is an avid
stone/crystal collector, herbalist, the web-witch of the Grove and the
Winter Spirit "balance" to Melanie. Cheryl has been practicing
for 10 years. Cheryl has a deep personal connection to
her patron Goddess Hekate and enjoys all aspects of ritual writing &
construction and will never hesitate to try something new. 
Nora is our watery Northern Goddess and an Autumn
Spirit. She is usually the voice of reason for the Grove as she
is demure, quiet and hearth-like. When Nora speaks... 'everyone'
listens. (hehehe)! Her path has a distinctly Nordic flare, and she is
very knowledgeable of runes, crystals and stones. She is also an
amazing seamstress and artist as well. Nora's been on the pagan path
for over 20 years, mostly
solitary, and now she's in her last year of study with Spiral Tree
Grove. Nora is now ready to take on her own students and start her
"daughter" Grove, and we can't be prouder. (
Gail
is now an Autumn Spirit and our 'Amaterasu',
shining her radiant light upon us all. She enjoys laughter,
music, chanting, ecstatic dancing and movement as a path to the
sacred, and she enjoys just sitting in the stillness. She loves trees, people,
sunshine and warm water. Gentle and kind, she is an excellent
listener and leader. Her creativity shines through in a
ritual setting, where she facilitates some unusual and interesting
energy work. Congrats to Gail as she finished the Herbal Earth program and is now a
herbalist.
Lisa is our
Fferyllt
(
When you talk about the voice of masculine reason
within the Grove, you must be talking about our Gemini,
Steven. Steven is our Root Member liaison, and an Air sign who blows
away the fog of indecision. A techie to the core, we call him the 'digi-witch'. Despite his
electronic abilities, Steven enjoys camping with the Grove, is a
great tiki God, and loves to poke at the fire. When his 'wind is
up', he helps to fan the flames of creativity in the Grove. Steven
has been with Spiral Tree Grove since Mabon 2002.
When
the Drama King (or more recently, the Oak King) enters the room,
everyone know its our Root Member, Dana. A "sweet as pie"
person who is always able to laugh at himself. He is presently a
Root Member who takes great pride in the Grove and it's
accomplishments. Dana is an excellent Drummer who always kicks up the beat for us when we need
some rhythm and rhyme. He enjoys archery, guitar playing, firescrying,
sword fighting reenactment and is starting to learn
the secrets of the tarot and runes. Dana has been pagan for over 15 years
and has been with the Grove since it's inception in 2000.
Cynthia
is a healer and Massage therapist. If you are in need of a good
shoulder to lean on or a good shoulder to be rubbed... Cynthia is your
girl. She enjoys sharing, helping out new members and loves to give
hugs! Cynthia loves animals especially her horse PK Boo who is her
best friend and competition partner. She also has two Weimerreiner
Vezela cross puppies named Sasha and Eros, along with Eric's cat named
Freedom. Cynthia has been active on the pagan path for three
years, and has been with Spiral Tree since 2004.
John,
Our favorite friendly "Gnome" is a welcoming personality that
consistently warms many a grove function. A talented Musician, John
plays the flute, recorder, dulcimer and sax, and loves to discuss his
other two favorites: Historical Recreation, and sports teams!
(Especially Baseball!) John has been pagan for years, and has been
active in the Grove since 2002. 
Rhiannon
is our self-learnt expert astrologist. (We
consult her constantly!) When her inner Air child comes out, she
writes beautiful meditations and produces some truly amazing pencil
art. When Rhiannon enters a room, everyone notices...beauty shines
not only from the outside, but her beautiful and kind soul is
evident to all. She enjoys dream interpretation and meditation and
of course astrology. Rhiannon has been a member of Spiral
Tree Grove since 2001 and has been on the pagan path for over 10 years.
lie
...strong, determined, precise...and sweet as pie. Julie is one of our
Herbal Earth apprentice members who received her Herbalist certificate
this past year. She loves Herbalism and does an awesome job making
blends and brews. Julie has been solitary for about three years
before joining Spiral Tree in 2006. Julie is looking forward to
increasing her dedication within STG and is presently taking classes the
current root member program. 
Eric
is the kind silent type... but watch out for the quiets
ones...especially Eric, cause with his good sense of humor.. he will
get you. Eric enjoys deepening his spirituality, playing strategy
games, and good conversation. Eric has been pagan for over 10 years
and has been with Spiral Tree Grove since December of 2001.
