Beth feels like she has been
dancing the spiral dance around Paganism her entire adult
life. At first befriended, afraid, challenged, threatened,
and befriended again. She feels like she is finally home.
She has known members of Spiral Tree Grove, long before she
knew it existed, and this contributes greatly to the comfort
found here. Beth joined in 2007, and became a Root member in
2010. We are very excited to have Beth join our Inner Grove
and start the Spring Spirit Path. She is eager to learn as
much as she can, and we look forward to her rituals as she
will shine as a ritual leader; being in a leadership role is
her forte. Beth, our Inner Grove Libra is a
"kitchen witch" at heart as she loves to blend magic and
good wishes in her food. She is friendly, outgoing and she truly enjoys
the ritual process.
Mundanely Beth is a very involved in Historic reenactment.
Happily married, Lives with her 2 cats in the East Bay area
of Rhode Island, and is a self employed jewelry designer.

Nettie - Root
Member & BOD member
Our lovely Nettie. Light-hearted and light footed, she is
always a joy to have at our rituals. She has the utmost
respect for the Grove, its future and is very dedicated to the
Outer Grove & Guests/New members. Nettie has been on our BOD
for years and is the voice of reason and wisdom who brings
wonderful idea's that incorporate the Grove as a whole. Nettie
has been with Spiral Tree Grove since Yule of 2004 and had
completed our Root Member series.
In her words: Despite deep indoctrination since early
childhood in my parents’ Catholicism, it was always the
natural world, ancient mythologies and the web of
connectedness – among beings, events, thoughts -- that shaped
my spirituality. Although I was always headed in this
direction, many years of my life passed before I trod the
Path.
Once upon the
Path I began to understand, embrace and celebrate life rather
than just live it. Now, a crone with heart, mind, spirit, and

Mundanely,
Nettie is a dancer and on the board of many non-profit
organizations. She travels, is always on the go and is very
proud of her family.

Linda-Outer Grove &
BOD member
Linda has
been on the Pagan path since January 2003, and has been a
dedicated member of The Spiral Tree Grove since 2005.
Linda enjoys ritual writing, candle magic, and working with
crystals, stones, pendulums, and tarot cards. She loves all
types of music, and is a great country line dancer! Some of
her other interests are sailing, visiting historical and
“haunted” sites, spending time with friends, reading, taking
walks in Nature, and scary movies. Linda is trained in the
martial arts, and has learned many different styles (Jiu Jitsu,
Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do, and Philippine). She received her black
belt in December of 2005. She is also a 2nd level Reiki
practitioner, and uses Reiki regularly in her Wiccan practice.
She especially loves doing distance healings.
Linda has a very close relationship with her patron goddess,
Athena.
Mundanely, Linda is in college, pursuing an Associate’s Degree
in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. She has a beautiful
Himalayan rabbit named Ninja, who she loves with all her
heart.

Deanna-Outer Grove Root Member & BOD Member
Deanna has been with STG since Yule 2005. She completed our
Root Member program years ago (2006) and has been a voice on our BOD
for years. She is our Diana Goddess. (Who is also her
patron) Watch out of for the arrow! Yes, she is awesome at
archery. Deanna loves to tell stories, and she will hold you
captive for hours. (you were warned! Hehe) She is an excellent
historian and has a unique perspective on Tarot symbology.
Being our Diana Goddess she is very grounded therefore
she has been able to increase her ability to see energy and
colors. Deanna is extremely involved in medieval reenactment and
has the pictures and minions to prove it.
Deanna is married and has a
beautiful daughter who is a spitfire just like her mom.

Melissa- Outer Grove Member
Melissa is one of our "newer" members of our Grove; she
joined May of 2010. Not only is she new to us, she is a novice
to the pagan path as she has been traveling the wheel for a
little over a year. Although she may be "new" to paganism, she
is not new to spirituality or connecting to the essence of the
divine. Soft spoken, intuitive and reflective; she has the air
and wisdom of the Goddess about her. She truly is interested
in deepening her connection to the divine and expressing that
honor to the earth by creating sacred space in her Garden to
grow flowers, vegetables, and herbs.
She is our silent but strong Quaker; amateur musician; quilter
and her robe making skills are amazing. Wow!
Mundanely she is married, 4 grown sons; work for a non-profit
arts organization, plus has 2 dogs and a cat.

Colby!!
Colby; otherwise known as " bump" is our intuitive cat
"greeter". He will greet you when you enter the house to go the the
Grovestead as he likes to know who is entering his
domain. He loves the energy of the Grovestead and will hang out
during ritual prep. Spirited, playful and full of love he will on
occasion join us
after rite and during classes as he knows he can get more attention. If
you pat him, you will have a friend for life!
Colby is 13 years old... ya wouldn't know it as he is full of spunk.
A Parting of Ways
To Those who have passed on to the land of the
eternal.....
We have passed
though the realm of sorrow, as we have lost members in our Grove who
are dear to our hearts. In love and respect, we will always remember
their beautiful spirit, and never forget, as those cherished memories live on in each
of us.
