(*She WILL deny it..shhhh) Melanie has a flare for off the cuff rituals that rock, plus she's an amazing story teller, and totem animal guide. Melanie is the earth in this Grove that keeps everyone 'balanced'. Nora's been on the pagan path for over 20 plus years, mostly solitary, but now she is a grounding force in our tradition. She enjoys laughter, music, chanting, ecstatic dancing and movement as a path to the sacred, and she enjoys just sitting in the stillness. She loves trees, people, sunshine and warm water. Gentle and kind, she is an excellent listener and leader. Her creativity shines through in a ritual setting, where she facilitates some unusual and interesting energy work. Gail is also an herbalist as she completed the Herbal Earth program back in 2006. She is involved with the Pagan Pride day event as well. Gail is branching out and bringing the STG tradition with her within our new 'sister' Grove located in Wakefield called Horn & Cauldron, COTE. In her words: My goal is to spiral the inner path to the center, to become more open, fearless, and disciplined in the Craft and in my personal life with others, and above all to work (and play) with others to build a more peaceful and effective community.

Our lovely Nettie. Light-hearted and light footed, she is always a joy to have at our rituals. She has the utmost respect for the Grove, its future and is very dedicated to the Outer Grove & Guests/New members. She is the Outer Grove Liaison who's voice of wisdom brings wonderful idea's that incorporate the Grove as a whole. Nettie has been with Spiral Tree Grove since Yule of 2004 and just recently completed our Root Member classes.

In her words: Despite deep indoctrination since early childhood in my parents’ Catholicism, it was always the natural world, ancient mythologies and the web of connectedness – among beings, events, thoughts -- that shaped my spirituality. Although I was always headed in this direction, many years of my life passed before I trod the Path.

Once upon the Path I began to understand, embrace and celebrate life rather than just live it.  Now, a crone with heart, mind, spirit, and body in sync, I’m ready to learn....Nettie  (Daughter of the Dawnlight)
