Wizard Watcher Hmmm..Earth, Air, Fire, Water.. OH MY!  Elements will make you think about a lot of stuff. They are also fun to learn about. If you read the page on Altar by Witch Shizzbop then you know there are a lot of altar tools she talked about. Well, each element is connected to a tool. Example. A cup is connected to water and a bell is connected to air. Get it? The Elements are part of nature and us, so if we learn about them, we can better understand our Gods & Goddesses and what life is all about. Each element has a direction, symbols, colors, & special meaning. I will explain what each element is and what they mean. Lets start with AIR, cause that makes you think. You know like 'air head'. Ha, Ha! Anyway, to be serious now.   Element Direction Color Symbols Meaning Air East & Spring pale yellow, light green, light blue air, feather, bell, birds, wind, breeze, clouds air makes you think & it gives you oxygen. Can you go around your house and find things that would connect to air? Go outside and do the same. Make a list and put it in your Book of Shadows. You may need it later. Hint... look at the 'just for fun button'.   Element Direction Color Symbols Meaning Fire South & Summer red, orange & gold  candle, heat, light, sun, fire, fox, cat Fire is hot & it gives you power.   Look who is here! He loves the element of fire. Do you know why? Remember he is a dragon, even if he is small.   Someday he will be really big and will shoot out big flames a real far distance, but for now he can only throw out small puffs and tiny flickering flames. Hey.... do you know his name? WELL....it's Flicker the dragon of course!!   Did you put the information you collected on air in your book? If you did, great job! Go now try the same thing will fire.   Ah.. wishy, washy water.... Element Direction Color Symbols Meaning Water West& Autumn blue, aqua, purple, silver water, cup, sea, lake, chalice, seashells, fish, sea creatures,   Water is emotion. Your body is made up of a lot of water. Wizard Watcher is wondering. Have you collect information on Air, Fire & Water ? If so, wonderful! You can move on then.   Element Direction Color Symbols Meaning Earth North & Winter browns, dark greens, maroon earth, dirt, roots, ground, mountains, trees, bear & wolf Earth is solid and stable, just like your bones.   Zzzzzz....Goddess Gaia is Sleeping. Look how she melts into the earth... that is called 'grounded'. You can try it too!  Mr. Potato head can help you ground. Pretend you are just like Mr. Potato head who lives in the earth. Imagine your feet becoming real big roots that sink into the earth. You have to remain really still to do it. Try it! Feels really cool! It is a great thing to do when you feel upset or nervous. OH No...It seems like Flicker has to MUCH earth energy! He is really sleepy. Even Froggy Friend can't wake him! Wizard Watcher wanted to know if you are putting all of this information in your Book of Shadows. Being a Wiccan is alot of work, so lets get too it!!! Do you have a Book of Shadows? NO? Well.....still write everything down and when you are ready you can go onto the Book of Shadow page to learn how. So, now you know about all of the elements. Makes setting up your Altar that much more fun!! Try to put the element tool in the right direction on your altar. Try collecting one of each, then two! Before you know it, you will be able to setup different types of altars for all occasions.  What element do these 'tools' match with... Can you figure it out and this is a tough one....the Altar   Wizard Watcher   Has one more question Do you know what direction is north with a compass?
