 Footprints in
our past......
This is the place
where we acknowledge the Lineage of The Spiral Tree Grove
Tradition, and to show appreciation for one of our founding
members, Melanie, who as of September 2010, resigned (retired) her position
as Winter Spirit Balance (clergy) of our Grove.
At our departing ceremony for Melanie, we shared stories,
memories and laughter, and then as she requested: we released
her energy and her Wiccan obligations from the Grove. Moving forward we will always be reminded
and appreciative of what Melanie brought to the creation of this
tradition with Cheryl, and we will hold sacred all the memories
of those particular times.
In Melanie's words......
....I have spent a great deal of
time connecting to my patroness, examining my path, both
spiritual and mundane, and deciding where I need to go in the
upcoming months.
....... I have
made many personal discoveries during this introspective summer
- one of them is that I would like to devote myself exclusively
to exploring the Egyptian rites, rituals and pantheon....
........It is
my deepest and sincerest hope that the Grove will continue to
thrive and grow - as it has for many years.....

Footsteps in the Future...
As we spiral into the future,
we will always have Melanie's
footprints imprinted on the core of our tradition. For 10 years,
she was integrated into the Wiccan Religion
and in her role as co-founder; during that time she weaved
spirited earth energy into our Tradition. That, we will
always remember and be grateful for.
As we step forward, we will take some time
to dig our feet deep within the earth; to re-balance ourselves;
acknowledging the ancestry of our family, while preparing to
step upon the future path of STG. This journey will definitely
be different, but we will excitedly walk toward the heart of the
Grove; surrounding ourselves with our extended spiritual family;
planting our roots alongside those who find their Spirit infused
in the essence of our Tradition.
As the remaining Co-founder of the
Tradition, be assured that Spiral Tree Grove will
continue; growing, teaching and reemerging; albeit renewed
and refreshed, but still standing alongside our Sister and Daughter Groves, and above all,
connecting to each of
our Members; new & experienced, for without
their commitment to the Grove, we would not be here.
We will always embrace the many footprints
upon our path, while continuing to
find new ways to honor the Gods, connect to the heart of Wicca
and to the Spirit of “The Spiral Tree Grove Tradition.”
